On Monday, May 18, 2020, Governor Charlie Baker announced his four-phase plan to reopen the Massachusetts economy. During the press conference, Governor Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito announced that Massachusetts construction projects could resume operations as soon as they adopt new construction-specific mandatory safety standards and guidelines.
