OVERVIEW

Commercial real estate development from a property in its raw state through acquisition, development, and sale comprise Gary Lilienthal’s primary area of practice. His practice includes acquisition, permitting, construction, leasing, financing, syndication, title and sale of real property. His goal is to offer his clients creative approaches for each transaction in which he provides representation. A former member of the Sharon Planning Board and Sharon Zoning Board of Appeals as well as of the Dover Housing Partnership, Mr. Lilienthal understands both sides of local permitting issues and appears on behalf of clients before Zoning Boards, Planning Boards and Conservation Commissions. He is currently Chairman of the Dover Zoning Board of Appeals. His clients include developers, corporations, institutions and small businesses. A licensed multiengine commercial pilot since 1981, he also assists clients in aircraft acquisition, financing and sale. He has been a course lecturer on Land Use and Planning at Boston College Law School, lectured on Land Use for the New England Law Institute and has provided legislative and regulatory assistance for a national non-profit organization at the federal and state level, co-drafting legislation and testifying before legislative committees and regulatory agencies.
