She also assists with research in various litigation matters.
Before joining the firm, Brooke was a law clerk at a small Boston litigation, business, and real estate law firm. Brooke assisted with litigation case management through the drafting of Chapter 93A demand letters, complaints, and discovery requests such as interrogatories and requests for admissions.
During law school, Brooke interned with both the former Chief Justice of the Massachusetts District Court, Paul C. Dawley, and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, Kimberly S. Budd. While working with Justice Dawley, Brooke closely collaborated with the general counsels of the Administrative Office of the District Court, conducting detailed research on the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on in-person jury trials. Her research played a key role in the Jury Management Advisory Committee’s Report and Recommendations to the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court on the Resumption of Jury Trials in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic, where she was recognized as a researcher. In her internship with Justice Budd, Brooke assisted with hearing preparation and case management, conducting complex research, reviewing appellate review applications, summarizing cases and new law, and generating questions for the Chief to ask litigant parties.
Brooke excelled academically throughout law school, finishing in the top three percent of her class at New England Law | Boston. She earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grade in at least one class most semesters and served as the Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law | Boston Review.
